The basic thing you need to do is to collect resources and build yourself a shelter. Resources that can be collected are incredibly various making game story incredibly interesting and diverse. Materials range from wood, clay, copper, coal, various adamant and mineral oars, and the list goes on. Each of these materials can be used for building a shelter or crafting a weapon to fight off aggressive creatures.

Managing to setup a shelter before the nightfall turns out to be crucial in the most cases. As you could have guessed by this time, Minecraft involves pretty much all the aspects of real life. Nightfall brings out creatures and monsters and this is
where the game steps off the reality. You will face and fight various creatures in order to survive and make game progress. Be ready to deal with zombies, snake-like creatures, skeletons, spiders, etc. This might sound a bit too much but game play was adjusted just nice all the creatures come out at night, while the daylight can be used for collecting resources, improving your character and building up a shelter. Avoid dark caves and underground caverns in order to stay safe during the day.

 The ultimate goal would be creating a portal to The End which stands for alternate universe under control by EnderDragon. However this is not an obligatory as you can keep on roaming the vast lands, building and exploring without any  chances to end the game. Whole towns and spaceships can be built. If there is a game extracting out the most of player ’s creativity and persistence than it is Minecraft.

Graphics and sounds

Minecraft is nothing alike comparing to movie-like graphics and blockbusters we have today. This indie game has more of a Doom95-like graphics rather than Call of Duty. It is digital counterpart of a world made up by lego. Indie game lovers will adore the environment of Minecraft. Sounding system doesn ’t have too much to contribute either. Few in-game sounds interpreted intensify the impression of vast lands around you increasing the sense of loneliness.

If you rather play with your friends than alone -Minecraft multiplayer mode is available. You can team-up to collect more resources, built more impressive buildings or even try to build some of the world ’s architectural miracles. Minecraft is a
game without limits.
